If you were a Pampered Chef consultant at some point in the past, I have a question for you:

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to do it again?

Maybe you loved being a consultant, but the timing just wasn’t right. You had little kids at home. You were working a demanding job. Your family’s schedule was crazy. Or life simply took you in another direction.

That doesn’t mean your time as a consultant wasn’t worthwhile. And it certainly doesn’t mean you couldn’t be successful if you decided to give it another look today.

Sometimes we’re simply in a different season of life.

And here’s something else to consider: Pampered Chef has changed, too.

Being a Consultant Doesn’t Have to Look One Particular Way

I’ve been a Pampered Chef consultant for over 30 years, and I’ve watched this business change quite a bit.

There was a time when being a consultant primarily meant packing up your products, driving to someone’s house, doing a cooking show and coming home late at night.

I have wonderful memories of those parties—and in-person parties are still a great option for someone who enjoys them.

But they’re not the only option anymore.  Today, you can build a Pampered Chef business in all sorts of ways.

You might love doing in-person parties and cooking classes. Or you might prefer online parties that you can work from home.

Maybe you enjoy making videos and sharing cooking tips on Facebook or Instagram. Perhaps TikTok is more your thing. You might have a professional network on LinkedIn or enjoy connecting with customers through text or email.

And you don’t have to choose just one.

That’s one of the things I love about the business today. You can make it fit YOU.

Think About What’s Changed Since You Were a Consultant

If it’s been five, ten or even twenty years since you were a consultant, think about how much has changed in your own life.

You know more people.

You’ve had more life experiences.

You’ve probably learned a few things about yourself, too.

Maybe you’re more comfortable talking to people than you used to be. Maybe you’ve discovered that you’re great at teaching, organizing, making videos, working with technology or bringing people together.

Those experiences don’t disappear when you start a business. They become part of what you bring to it.

And some of the things that made being a consultant difficult years ago may not even be part of your life anymore.

What Hasn’t Changed? People Still Need Help With Mealtime!

This might be my favorite part. After all these years, we’re still solving a very real problem:

What’s for dinner?

Families are busy. Grocery prices matter. People want to cook at home, but they don’t necessarily want complicated recipes that take an hour and leave the kitchen looking like a tornado went through it.

They want easy meals.

They want shortcuts.

They want ideas for using what they already have.

They want to know which kitchen tools are actually worth owning.

They want help getting dinner on the table.

That’s what I’ve always loved about Pampered Chef.

Yes, we sell kitchen products. But at the heart of what we do, we’re helping people feel more confident in their kitchens and making family mealtime a little easier.

And there are so many ways to share that today.

Your Pampered Chef Business Doesn’t Have to Look Like Mine

This is important!

If you decided to become a consultant again, I wouldn’t expect you to build your business exactly like I build mine.

Your life isn’t my life.

Your circle of friends isn’t mine.

Your talents aren’t mine.

And the things you enjoy doing may be completely different.

Someone who loves being around people might build a business around in-person cooking experiences.

Someone who loves social media might create cooking videos.

Someone with connections to schools, churches or community organizations might enjoy fundraisers.

Someone with a large professional network might find completely different opportunities.

And someone else may simply want a small business that gives them a reason to cook, meet people and earn some extra income along the way.

There isn’t one definition of what a successful Pampered Chef consultant has to look like.

Maybe You Aren’t Starting Over

I think this is especially important for former consultants.

You aren’t the same person you were the first time around.

You already know something about the products and the company. You probably remember more than you think you do. And you have years of additional life experience that you didn’t have before.

So I wouldn’t necessarily call it starting over.

I’d call it starting from a different place.

And sometimes that makes all the difference.

Could This Be the Right Season?

I’m not going to tell you that becoming a Pampered Chef consultant again is right for everyone.

But if you’ve thought about it—even just a little—I think it’s worth finding out what has changed.

Ask questions.

Take a look at the tools available today.

Think about what your version of this business could look like.

You don’t have to make it look like it did before. And you certainly don’t have to make it look like anyone else’s business.

You get to ask a much better question:

What could I create with this opportunity in the life I have today?

That’s a conversation I’d love to have with you.

If you were a Pampered Chef consultant in the past and you’re curious about what it would be like to come back, reach out to me. There’s no pressure and no expectation that you make a decision.

Let’s just talk about what’s different, what’s possible and what you would want a business to look like this time around.

Maybe this is your second season. And maybe it’s a really good one.
