Chicken Ranch Wraps in the Air Fryer

If your family enjoys drive-thru chicken wraps, you’re going to love how easy these are to make at home.

These chicken ranch wraps are family-friendly, easy to customize, and a good choice for picky eaters. Older kids can even assemble their own. Add some colorful vegetables on the side, and you have a quick dinner without much cleanup.

Here’s the recipe

Ingredients

  • Frozen breaded chicken strips, about 2–3 per wrap
  • Flour tortillas
  • Freshly shredded cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Ranch dressing
  • Cut-up vegetables for serving
  • Chips, if desired

How to Make Chicken Ranch Wraps

1. Cook the chicken

Arrange the frozen chicken strips in a single layer on your Deluxe Air Fryer and Oven rack. Air fry according to the package directions, rotating the rack or turning the chicken halfway through the cooking time.

I cooked mine in the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven for about 15 minutes. Cooking times may vary, so make sure the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature of 165°F.

2. Prepare the cheese and tortillas

While the chicken cooks, shred your cheese with the Adjustable Coarse Grater. Cheese that you grate yourself usually melts better than pre-shredded cheese because it doesn’t contain the added ingredients used to prevent clumping.

Here’s a time-saving tip: Shred the entire block at once and store the extra cheese in the freezer. You’ll have it ready whenever a recipe calls for it.

Sprinkle cheese over each tortilla. During the final 60–90 seconds of cooking, place the tortillas in the air fryer just long enough to warm them and melt the cheese. Watch them carefully and make sure the edges aren’t hanging over the rack.

Smaller tortillas are easier to work with, but use what you already have. That’s what I did!

3. Assemble the wraps

Place two or three cooked chicken strips on each warm tortilla. Add lettuce and roll everything together as tightly as you can.

For easier eating, slice each wrap diagonally through the middle.

Serve the ranch dressing on the side for dipping. It’s perfect for both the wraps and the vegetables.

Make It a Colorful Meal

I like to serve these wraps with a simple assortment of colorful vegetables. Some family members may choose chips—and that’s fine—but having washed and cut vegetables ready makes everyone more likely to eat them.

Try serving the wraps with:

  • Mini sweet peppers
  • Cucumbers
  • Carrots
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Broccoli
  • Sugar snap peas

A ready-to-eat veggie tray is one of the easiest ways to encourage your family to add more vegetables to meals and snacks.

Easy Ways to Customize Your Wraps

Set out the ingredients and let everyone build their own. You could also offer:

  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Bacon
  • Avocado
  • Pickles
  • Red onion
  • Buffalo sauce
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Different kinds of cheese

These chicken ranch wraps make a quick lunch, an easy weeknight dinner, or a simple meal kids can help prepare. You get the crispy chicken and ranch flavor your family enjoys—with no trip through the drive-thru.

Would your family choose vegetables, chips, or a little of both on the side?
